Finishing in style at Tamworth

Printers or trade houses wanting an indication of directions at Drupa 2008 on the finishing front will have the opportunity by attending Heidelberg UK’s Finishing Open House in Heidelberg’s Tamworth showroom from 15 to 17 April.

Monday 17. March 2008 - Printers or trade houses wanting an indication of directions at Drupa 2008 on the finishing front will have the opportunity by attending Heidelberg UK’s Finishing Open House in Heidelberg’s Tamworth showroom from 15 to 17 April.

The UK’s most comprehensive manufacturer of finishing equipment will demonstrate how technology can add value to a printing or finishing business. The equipment line up will include the new Eurobind EB600 perfect binder, Eurotrim EB 1300 and many of the latest Polar guillotine developments, including the most automated PACE systems and a broad range of materials handling.

Folders, including a modular mailer, will be on show as well as three Stichmaster saddle-stitcher models (ST100, ST350 and ST450), a Diana Pro folder gluer and Varimatrix die-cutter.

With Postpress Manager JDF connectivity promised for Drupa, this also offers a chance to see and discuss what workflow is now possible, how it will evolve and what advantages it will bring. P Net on Polar will be in use across a range of equipment.

“Finishing can be a complex subject because of the diversity of processes but businesses investing wisely in this area will reap bottom line benefits. There is tremendous scope still to optimise output per head and offer end users something more than ‘ink on paper’,” says Mark Hogan,

The open house will run daily from 9am to 5pm with breakfast available.
