Friday 22. February 2008 - Matan, the original innovator of the Super-Wide Format (SWF) digital printing industry, follows the successful launch and impressive sales of the Barak line across Europe now introduces it to Latin America. The Barak's launch will take place at GOA 2008, in Miami Beach, Florida, from February 28th till March 1st, 2008, in Hall A, Booth #2236.
The Barak – Matan’s latest product line of 16ft and 10ft UV, Hybrid SWF digital printers, was successfully introduced to the European market, less than a year ago at FESPA 2007. Matan now follows this success by bringing this unique product line to Latin America.

The Barak launch will take place at Matan’s Booth #2236 in Hall-A, on February 28th at 11:30am. Live demonstrations of the Barak5 will be held throughout the show to demonstrate the world’s only 16ft-wide machine’s excellent printing capabilities and its patented hybrid mechanism that enables fast and easy switching between flexible and rigid media.
The Barak Product line Barak is a SWF digital printer, using UV-curable inks, designed to bring an all-in-one solution to the market. Available in 16ft or 10ft widths, the Barak is easy to operate, user-friendly and guarantees a low total cost of ownership.

High Performance: Barak incorporates leading print-head technology featuring 30 picoliter drop size to achieve high-quality output. Its wide color gamut and flexible inks enable the Barak to target a wide variety of demanding applications. The low ink consumption with coverage of up to 1940 sqft/liter (180 sqm/liter) on average, and the excellent throughput of more than 1830 sqft/hr (170 sqm/hour) meet the performance requirements of the most advanced print shop.
