Branding, Insulation and Safe Handling Available in One Cup
Wednesday 20. February 2008 - NOVA Chemicals today introduced the Altra cup line to the premium beverage market. Altra cups deliver a number of benefits to coffee-shop owners and their customers through unsurpassed insulation, increased safe handling and stunning graphic capabilities.
With Altra cups, we are able to enhance our branding opportunities, while providing our customers with the sturdiest, well-insulated product on the market, stated Ed Wethli, owner of Kiva Han Coffee, a domestic coffee wholesaler.
Altra cups are extremely versatile and work well for both hot and cold beverage applications, allowing retailers to use one cup for all drinks. The Altra cup line includes four stock label designs in 12-, 16-, 20- and 24- ounce sizes with a universal lid that fits all four sizes. The four designs include Manhattan Mocha, Haute Tropic, Zen Roast and Svelte Sage. Custom graphics are easily accommodated in small to large quantities.
The universal lid is a big advantage for us, Wethli continued. We are able to stock just one size, simplifying the ordering process for our customers.
Altra cups are produced using patent-pending IMx technology, an innovative process that molds and labels cups in a single step. IMx technology was developed jointly by Autonational B.V., a Dutch equipment manufacturer, and NOVA Chemicals. NOVA Chemicals licenses the right to manufacture and market IMx technology to licensees around the world. Altra cups are manufactured in Leetsdale, PA, and are available globally.
