Kodak Appoints Philippe Berte to lead Graphic Communications Group in Nordic Region
Wednesday 23. January 2008 - Philippe Berte has been appointed Managing Director for Kodaks Graphic Communications Group (GCG) in Nordics. He replaces Björn Wesström, who has been promoted to a new international role within the business.
Wesströms position as Managing Director of Kodak AB, the overall Kodak holding company for Nordics, is unaffected and he continues in that position going forward. Both appointments were effective 1 January 2008.
Berte has worked in the graphic arts industry for more than 20 years and joined Kodak in 1998. His experience spans a variety of country and international business unit management positions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He will work closely with the Nordics Sales Directors – Ulf Malm in Sweden, Jens Cronval in Denmark, Erkki Talvitie in Finland and Roar Ellingsen in Norway and Iceland, who remain the day-to-day contacts for customers in each country. Berte retains his existing role as Managing Director GCG Benelux.
Wesström said: “Ive enjoyed my time at GCG Nordics enormously, and while Im sad to leave Im delighted that a manager of Philippes calibre will be taking over from me, and I wish him and the team every success in the future.”
