FUJIFILM SERICOL AND J-TECK3 PARTNER IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
Wednesday 23. January 2008 - Fujifilm Sericol Australia has acquired the rights to supply J-Teck inks in the Australian and NZ markets.
In a move set to expand Fujifilm Sericols involvement in the digital market in Australia and New Zealand, effective 1 February 2008 Fujifilm Sericol will acquire the J-Teck Ink and Coldenhove paper agencies from J-Teck Australia.
“The acquisition of J-Tecks agencies is a logical one for us, and provides us with digital capabilities in the textile market. We can now offer a total supply package of digital inks, printers and paper for the textile market. This complements what we already do in the screen textile market and the digital graphics market.” says Fujifilm Sericol General Manager Mark Brown. “J-Teck Australia is an excellent business with great products and people” he adds.
J-Teck Australias Managing Director Wendy Bridgett explains “Fujifilm Sericol was an obvious choice for us. They have an excellent reputation, know the textile market well, and have a national sales and distribution network to support the business”. Post acquisition Wendy will be focusing on retirement and enjoying more time with her family. J-Teck Technical Manager Andrew Marrs will join Fujifilm Sericol to provide continuing support for the customers and products.
J-Teck Italy is also pleased with the deal with Sales Director Italo Mariani commenting “We are very much looking forward to working with Fujifilm Sericol Australia and building on the great work of J-Teck Australia.
