Mohawk Names Jack F. Haren President and Chief Financial Officer

Friday 04. January 2008 - Jack F. Haren has been promoted to President and Chief Financial Officer of Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. A member of Mohawk's Board of Directors since 2005, Haren was previously Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He has been with Mohawk since 1999.

Haren was a principal player in the acquisition of International Paper’s Fine Paper Division in 2005, and has continued to manage the financial success of the integration. He will retain his responsibilities for the finance, treasury, IT, and international sales departments. “Jack has earned this recognition through his significant record of accomplishments, his loyalty and dedication to the financial integrity of the company, and his commitment to the well-being of all Mohawk employees,” said Thomas D. O’Connor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“Jack’s leadership, creativity, and business acumen, combined with a thorough knowledge of the business, have positioned us well. I look forward to working with him to take Mohawk’s success to the next level,” said O’Connor.

Prior to joining Mohawk, Haren worked with Union Camp Corporation for 24 years. He has a BS degree from Fordham University, is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
