Asahi congratulates EFIA 2015 winners

Friday 17. April 2015 - Asahi is congratulating its customers on their success at the EFIA Print Awards 2015, which was held in Nottingham last week (19th March).

The EFIA awards have been running since 1972 and offer participating companies the opportunity to gain public recognition of their achievements and showcase flexographic print excellence
There were 72 awards in total, with 8 handed to Asahi customers, who use its flexographic printing plates. The highest accolade award was presented to Multi Labels Ltd – Collotype, based on an Asahi plate, who received a gold for their Aupourri Wine.
Other winners included Forum Packaging Ltd and FFP Packaging Solutions Ltd, who scooped two silvers and a bronze and a bronze award respectively. FFP Packaging Solution Ltd and Multilabels Ltd – Collotype were also both highly commended by the judges.
Dr David Galton, Director of Asahi Photoproducts UK Ltd, said “The hotly contested awards are the most highly sought within the packaging industry and our customers have received recognition they deserve and have worked hard for. It’s a privilege to work with these companies who’ve been commended by the judges at the EFIA Print Awards which showcase the finest printing services the sector has to offer”.
