Highcon at China Print 2017

Tuesday 16. May 2017 - Launch in China of the Highcon Beam

At China Print, the No. 1 international printing fair in Asia, Highcon will be delivering the promise of digital finishing to the Asian market.
Highcon is no stranger to China, and with Highcon Euclid customer installations already up and running in commercial and packaging applications, the company sees China as a major growth area of innovation in the industry. Following the company’s success in drupa 2016, Asia was the region with the fastest growth in installations and machines were installed in China, Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Of the four flagship Highcon Beam installations worldwide, two are in China and this revolutionary machine will be shown publicly for the first time in Asia at this show.
The first Highcon Beam installation in China is at Hugo Printing Co., Ltd. – Fortune Mile Package and Printing Ltd. in Hong Kong.
Mr. Christopher Chow, Deputy Director, Hugo Printing Ltd., said: “We are proud to be running the first Highcon Beam in Asia. We specialize in packaging for premium appliances and high-end cosmetics. With the Highcon Beam we are able to provide top class designs that could never have been achieved before, including different versions, customization and even personalization. We can also move some of our ongoing production from analogue to digital process”.
The installation of the machine at the show will be at QP Quality Production, a leading printing company headquartered in Hong Kong, employing 2,500 at different sites all over China.
Mr. Ricky Cheng, Managing Director of QP Printing Ltd., said: “We understand that digital finishing is the way of the future and the Highcon Beam will enable us to produce our extensive range of applications for the high end market more rapidly and more efficiently”.
With a booth of over 400 m2, inside the Infotech Group booth in Hall E2, Highcon will be showing a wide range of applications produced on the machines and will be holding live demos every day of
• Highcon Beam – digital cutting and creasing for the mainstream at up to 5,000 sheets/hour
• Highcon Euclid III – third generation machine offering application versatility for short to medium runs
• Highcon Axis on-line web-to-pack software solution

The amazing “Power of Paper Show” that was such a crowd drawer at drupa, has been specially adapted and includes customer testimonials from Asia.
Aviv Ratzman, Highcon CEO and Co-founder, said: “Highcon has been steadily growing throughout Asia and we are impressed with the increase of digital technology in China in particular. We are excited to return to China Print with our newest solutions and to welcome visitors to our booth to see just what can be done with this revolutionary technology”
