ECRM INTRODUCES WORKMATES 4.0 AT GRAPHICS OF THE AMERICAS

ECRM today announced the launch of WorkMates 4.0, an entry-level workflow solution that greatly enhances the production capabilities of prepress operators. With WorkMates 4.0, users are provided more automated features that control job priorities, file archiving and deletion choices, and defined workflow mapping for files, and greater access to job history information. ECRM will be exhibiting WorkMates 4.0 at the Graphics of the Americas 2010 exhibit in booth #882 (Feb 25-27) in Miami Beach.

Tribune Direct Becomes the First Customer PortalBuilder Installation for GMC Software Technology

GMC Software Technology, the standard in personalized communication, today announced that Tribune Direct, a subsidiary of the Tribune Company and existing GMC customer, has become the first installation for GMC PortalBuilder. As a result, Tribune Direct can now develop rapid, scalable storefront offerings for their client base and prospects while, leveraging their existing investments in GMC’s products and solutions.

SPH select Harland Simon for CT50 reelstand control replacement

Harland Simon announces the award of a contract by Singapore Press Holdings for the supply of new control systems for their Goss CT50 reelstands. The project covers the supply and installation of new drives and controls for the 40 CT50 reelstands on four Goss Colorliner presses with systems based upon industry standard, off the shelf components which will eliminate obsolete proprietary systems. In addition splice and waste performance will be improved and maintenance time will be reduced.
