With the new SureColor SC-F3000, Epson is introducing a direct-to-garment (DTG) printer that offers medium to large garment print service providers and T-shirt manufacturers a printing solution with low total cost of ownership. Companies looking for high precision, speed and the ability to flexibly print complex designs on a wide variety of garments will appreciate the high efficiency and reliability of the new SureColor. The new SureColor SC-F3000 will be available from June 2020 at qualified specialist retailers.
Durst, manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies, has restructured its segment for industrial textile printing. The new segment manager, Dr. Stefan Kappaun, has responsibility for the strategic direction in home textiles, clothing and accessories. Dr. Kappaun also will be the connecting link to the Large Format Segment, which takes over soft signage and fabrics in the portfolio.

Memjet today announces that MHM, a leading provider of textile printing equipment, will incorporate Memjets DuraFlex technology in its iQ Oval textile printing press. The partnership is the first textile application for Memjet, creating a turnkey, retrofit garment-printing solution with the speed, quality, and ease of use garment manufacturers need to succeed in a changing market. MHM will discuss the development of this new solution at the upcoming Impressions Expo (formerly ISS conference), being held January 17-19 in Long Beach, California.
Messe Frankfurt, one of the worlds largest trade fair organizers has licensed its Heimtextil brand to Inexmoda, a private nonprofit institute based in Colombia (South America) and owner of the most important textile and fashion trade shows in Latin America: Colombiatex of the Americas and Colombiamoda, Colombias Fashion Week. The first edition of Heimtextil Colombia in Medellin will open its doors in April 2021.
With a content-driven programme, the 50th edition of Heimtextil delivered strong impetus for the start of the new furnishing season. Sustainability was placed firmly at top of the agenda, outshining all other topics. 63,000 visitors gathered information about the major themes dominating the international industry from 2,952 exhibitors at the worlds leading trade fair for home and contract textiles. As expected, the unusually early date led to a drop in visitor numbers.
