At Labelexpo Europe 2013-in Brussels, Belgium, September 24-27–the metallic printing and special effects available with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System may be seen on a variety of substrates on exhibit stands throughout the show. Visitors to the show will see examples of the Color-Logic process using flexography and digital printing.

Fujifilm announces partnership with HELL Gravure Systems

Fujifilm today announces a partnership with HELL Gravure Systems to sell its B1 format Direct Laser Engraving (DLE) platesetter, the PremiumSetter S1300, in Europe as part of the company’s strategy to grow its label and packaging business. The partnership will see Fujifilm sell the machine together with its FLENEX DLE plate to create a high quality, simple and efficient flexo plate production system. Fujifilm will showcase the system for the first time in Europe on stand 7L32 at Label Expo (Brussels, 24th – 27th September 2013).

First project from new Champions industry platform now also joined by IDEAlliance

The new Print Process CHAMPIONS cross-industry platform has completed its first project with the launch of ‘Processus de standardisation de la couleur’. The French edition of ‘Process Colour Standardisation’ is a co-publication by IDEP adapted from the original PrintCity version published in English and German in 2012.
