D&W Fine Pack, a Mid Oaks Investments LLC portfolio company, announces the acquisition of Tri-City Packaging Ltd. Tri-City Packaging comes to D&W as a well-established packaging supplier of plastic containers in the Canadian market, serving the bakery, poultry, fruit and vegetable markets.

Industrias Alimenticias, a leading Brazilian manufacturer of the Quero brand of tomato-based sauces, tomato paste, ketchup, condiments and vegetables. The acquisition of the Quero business, which has annual sales of approximately $325 million, gives Heinz its first major business in Brazil, a key Emerging Market and the worlds fifth most populated nation. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

(NYSE: RBN) today reported diluted net earnings per share (DEPS) of $0.32 for its fiscal second quarter ended February 28, 2011, compared with $0.13 in the prior year second quarter. Adjusting for one-time charges relating to the acquisition of T-3 Energy Services, Inc. (T-3) on January 10, 2011, the Company earned $0.62 per share, which included approximately $0.06 of certain income tax and operating benefits which are not expected to recur.
