From 24 to 27 September the Palais des Expositions d’Alger – Safex in Algiers opens its gates for the 2nd plast alger & the 3rd printpack alger. Accompanied by a 3-day conference program and with more than 100 exhibitors from 16 countries these are the most important trade fairs for the plastics, printing and packaging industry for the largest country on the African continent. The events enjoy the patronage of the Algerian Ministry of Industry, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and of Investment Promotion. Both trade shows are organized by the trade fair specialist fairtrade Messe and its German-Algerian team.

The invite welcomed guests to a ‘Great British Day by the Seaside’ and unfortunately Wednesday 15 August 2012 was typically British, with rain beating down on Douglas Storrie Labels in Lytham-St-Anne’s. Fortunately that was the only gloomy part of the day as inside the factory a Great British themed day was taking place. The day was an opportunity for Douglas Storrie Labels to open the doors to their factory to welcome in existing customers and potential customers to see their newest press, the Edale FL-350 running a number of different print jobs to show off the press’s capabilities.
