The US company of the Krones Group, Krones Inc. in Franklin/Wisconsin (USA), and Krones AG, Neutraubling (Germany), have now settled the legal disputes that have been ongoing in the US since October 2008. Only one claim for legal fees remains pending. The proceedings concerned relate to claims for damages asserted by several American financial service providers, a group of hedge funds and a liquidator, and most recently investigations by the district attorney in Pennsylvania. The settlement agreed with the liquidator is still subject to formal approval by the insolvency court. The proceedings related to the financial scandal involving the bankruptcy of the US company Le-Nature’s.

Labelexpo India 2012, which was held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi between 29 October and 1 November, has enjoyed its most successful edition in its 10 year history. Underlining the show’s importance in the region’s fast growing label and package printing industry, Labelexpo India 2012 exceeded all previous visitor and exhibitor numbers.
The focus will be on global market trends, digital print technologies and package printing as conference program highlights are announced for the South China Label Show 2012. Being held at the Pazhou Exhibition Center in Guangzhou between 4-6 December 2012, the South China Label Show will feature six conference sessions over two days.

With this in-house hotmelt manufacturing capability, UPM Raflatac will be offering label converters cutting-edge technology and expertise they require to develop cost-effective and high-quality label products. The new technology will be in use during the first quarter of 2013.
