Labelexpo celebrates double win at AEO Excellence Awards 2013
The Labelexpo Global Series has won two coveted awards at the prestigious AEO (Association of Event Organisers) Excellence Awards which were held at London’s Old Billingsgate on 21 June. Triumphing in the Organiser Team of the Year category, the team also scooped the Marketing Campaign of the Year award for a record-breaking fourth time.

AMCOR ANNOUNCES CHINA FLEXIBLE PACKAGING ACQUISITION
Amcor announces today an agreement to acquire the flexible packaging operations of Jiangsu Shenda Group for RMB350 million. The purchase price represents 8.0 times CY2012 EBITDA. Returns, measured as EBIT to funds employed, are expected to be over 20% by CY2016 underpinned by cost synergies and continued strong organic growth in the Chinese market.

ENSO Plastics Announces Biodegradable Plastic Solutions for the Philippines
The grace period for Makati City Ordinance No. 2003-095 has ended. This ordinance bans the use, sale and distribution of plastics that are non-biodegradable. To help manufacturers comply with the city ordinance ENSO Plastics announces two new biodegradable technologies for the Philippines market – ENSO RENEW and ENSO RESTORE.
