The registration process for Labelexpo Asia 2015 has now officially opened. Marking its 7th edition, the show will be held between 1 – 4 December at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. (“Atlantic”), a leading Canadian manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated packaging products, today officially announced the acquisition of Skybox Packaging (‘Skybox’) in Mansfield, Ohio. Skybox manufactures corrugated packaging products and distributes packaging supplies and equipment out of its 100,000+ sq. ft. facility in Mansfield.
Dave Dennison of Transparent Packaging and Dave Heller of Printex Packaging have announced the merger of their respective companies. The new company–PRINTEX TRANSPARENT PACKAGING–is now the largest plastic box manufacturer in North America, delivering plastic folding cartons from its three design centres and two manufacturing plants within the U.S. and Canada. Domestic plastic packaging is now competing aggressively with producers overseas.
Linerless labeling specialist Ravenwood Packaging (stand 6C45) will be showcasing its ‘complete package’ of converting and labeling technology at Labelexpo Europe. The UK-based company will be demonstrating its unique and original coating and application machines to the largest label and package printing audience in Europe.
PaperWorks Industries, Inc., a leading integrated North American paperboard packaging supplier, will make a strategic investment of more than $11 million CAD ($9 million USD) over the next year to expand the capabilities of its Boehmer Box folding carton manufacturing facility in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The plant was one of the facilities acquired from CanAmPac in July.
