The family-run company Nakamoto Forestry is the worlds largest manufacturer and supplier of Japanese Yakisugi wooden facades. THIMM produces for Nakamoto Forestry a packaging concept consisting of presentation packaging for shipping and displays.
As a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional trays made of aluminium or with PE or silicone coating, THIMM has developed a menu tray for 100% safe direct food contact. The menu tray is even heat-resistant, so that food can be heated in the oven or microwave.
Thimm has received the Axia Best Managed Companies Award 2020. With what is probably the first linerless labelling system to meet the demanding requirements of shipping labels, HERMA caused a sensation last year. Now the self-adhesive specialist is showing for the first time how even variably fed and therefore differently sized shipping cartons can be labelled on top in any order: The HERMA InNo-Liner system will be available from October 2020 with sensor-controlled variable labelling height. This would already have been on show live at the Interpack 2020.
