SACMI Smart Booking, the digital app making work safe during the pandemic

Operational since 1st July, the service is being accessed over 500 times a day by all the Italian companies in the SACMI Group, giving the digital skills training programme (Digital GYM) yet another boost. Italy is ready for the international Future – Factory Streaming Roadshows

Registrations for the virtual meetings in Turkey, Uk, Egypt and Algeria, are now open. Four events in four countries involving a wide community of industries and associations on the core themes of sustainability and industry 4.0. The international Print4All Conference – Future Factory Streaming Roadshows in Turkey (November 4), the United Kingdom (November 11), Egypt (December 10) and Algeria (December 16), will be an opportunity for Italian companies to show their know-how and develop new connections in these countries.

PersPACKtives e. V. wants to innovate packaging and logistics

The newly founded association PersPACKtives e. V. started its activities yesterday with the Symposium Packaging and Logistics. The kick-off event was fully booked with over 50 participants on-site. As a result of high demand, the event was broadcast live on the internet for twice the number of participants. Members met with packaging and logistics innovators at the EUREF Campus in Berlin to discuss future industry challenges. Thimm is intensively involved with PersPACKtives in order to shape the future in a network of partners.

ProFlex 360: Members show their colours at the first DFTA virtual event

Das FoyerOn 16 September 2020, Europes largest flexographic printing trade association – the DFTA – held its first virtual ProFlex 360 . The members, all companies interested in flexo printing, interest groups and press partners were able to obtain digital information about flexo printing and gain new insights. The online format included an interactive exhibition hall for product and company presentations, video calls, live technical presentations in the plenum, a machine demonstration and a virtual meeting room.

Thirteen Golds at the German Packaging Award 2020

The Hall of Fame for the most important innovations has been enriched by 13 outstanding solutions. The jury of the German Packaging Award announced this years Gold Award winners in an online event at Europes largest packaging exhibition. The awards were presented for innovations in paper, corrugated board, cardboard, wood, tin and plastic as well as a machine solution.
