Japs-Olson Installs Speedmaster XL 105 12-Color Perfector
The Japs-Olson Company in St. Louis Park, MN recently purchased and installed a Peak Performance Speedmaster XL 105 12-color perfector with extended delivery and aqueous coater, and featuring Heidelberg Prinect components including Prinect Prepress Interface and two Prinect Inpress Control reporting systems installed before and after the perfecting unit.

KBA: new ideas, new concepts, new alliances
IFRA Expo in Vienna will see Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) and New Delhi-based Indian press manufacturer The Printers House (TPH) sharing a stand (no. 610 in hall B) for the first time since the two companies entered a strategic alliance earlier this year. TPH will promote, sell and distribute KBA web presses on the Indian subcontinent while KBA will follow suit with TPHs single-wide Orient presses in the rest of the world.

Statex steps up long perfecting productivity
Newcastle printer Statexcolourprint will next month take delivery of its second B2 ten-colour press in two years. The new press is the latest generation Speedmaster XL 75-10-P with Inpress Control automated inline spectrophotometry and Autoplate XL simultaneous plate changing.

Potts returns to Heidelberg for two more Speedmaster SM 52s
Potts Printers has returned to Heidelberg for two new B3 presses, Speedmaster SM 52-2s. The decision to buy two to replace one SM 52 follows on from Potts being appointed single source supplier to its local NHS Trust in Newcastle.
