The printing machine manufacturer Southern Germany, who was well known in the industry under the name Edelmann Graphics GmbH, was taken over by the Turkish UMUR Group in 2011. The Edelmann company was founded in 1953. In 1991, the company was sold to an American company group, and in 2003 the company was continued in the form of a holding company. At this time, the name was changed to “Edelmann Printing Machines GmbH (EPM)”. The original product ranges for narrow- and medium-gauge web offset and hybrid machines are continued almost without any changes.
Edelmann Printing Machines GmbH presents its new Fast Paper Processor (FPP) with a digital system for the first time at the Label Expo. The company, which now belongs to the Umur Group will present its innovation at booth S 90 in Hall 11.

Paper Specialties Inc., Raleigh, NC, recently installed a Kluge 14×22 EHD Foil Stamping, Embossing and Diecutting Press to bring foil stamping in-house to their wholesale bindery operation. The EHD press is equipped with optional wide magazine and delayed delivery which increases the maximum sheet size to 17″ x 26.25″. Often referred to as the “workhorse of the industry”, the Kluge EHD is known for its durability, reliability, excellent registration, and its ability to feed diecut stock.
