Concurrently with the K’2013 exhibition in Düsseldorf, BOBST has organized Open Houses and machine demonstrations to take place in BOBST Technology Centers in Germany, UK and Italy with a view to providing converters with the opportunity to see live demonstrations of state-of-the-art web-fed printing and converting equipment.
Center will provide the opportunity for brand owners and packaging producers to test, demonstrate and implement cooperative programs to enhance their business proposition through web offset technology

Spectrum Printing Services was an early adopter of Speedmaster XL 75 technology five years ago. It returned to Heidelberg for another five-colour with coater which was installed at its Leicester factory last month. This time round it has elected to carbon neutralise the press.
For the first time in 35 years, Printing Industries of America has honored a 57″/64″ sheetfed offset press with a prestigious 2013 InterTech Technology Award. Heidelberg’s Speedmaster XL 145/162 VLF press series was recognized for its twin-gripper delivery system and innovative Remote Fan-Out Control (RFOC), features that bring true peak performance to large-format, light paper printing and perfecting.
