UK company Synkcreative have recently installed a six colour Edale Beta UV flexo label press into its 465sqm facility based in Manchester. The 330mm wide machine has been brought in to help with the increasing demand for self adhesive label work.

On 18 October 2013, Brohl Wellpappe GmbH & Co. KG in Mayen held a ceremony to officially bring the new BOBST FFG 924 NT RS flexo folder gluer into operation. This innovative seven-colour production line including varnishing and IR/UV drying is designed to produce high-quality corrugated cardboard packaging in a single operation, and was developed jointly by Brohl Wellpappe and BOBST. It is the latest fruit of a long partnership which has already created a number of innovative machine prototypes.
