McCarty Printing, a privately held and locally owned corporation in Erie, Pennsylvania, is expanding capacity with their new Speedmaster CX 75-5+L with UV from Heidelberg. The new press alongside their new Heidelberg Easymatrix 106 CS is supporting the growth of the companys development in the packaging market.

OMET open house for digital and flexo technologies to inaugurate the new OMET DROME

More than 250 people took part at the OMET Hybrid Experience Open house dedicated to the opportunities of hybrid printing technology in the label industry. Held on January 24th and 25th 2019 at the new OMET DROME, the event was enriched by technical presentations, live demos and visits to the OMET production sites. A lovely gala dinner at the beautiful lake-view location attracted a great number of participants.

Nilpeter Celebrates 100 Years of Innovation

May 1, 2019 will be a special day at Nilpeter Headquarters in Slagelse, Denmark, as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary. Founded by two old friends in 1919, Nilpeter started out servicing newspaper printing machines in central Copenhagen, before launching its first semi-rotary printing press, The Simplex, in 1924, which in various versions remained part of the companys product range until the 70s.

Rapida 106 for Frischmann Druck und Medien

Enhanced performance and more stability in the printing process were the reasons behind Jürgen Frischmanns, managing director of Frischmann Druck und Medien, decision to purchase a Rapida 106. At the beginning of January he visited Koenig & Bauer in Radebeul to learn more about the assembly status of his five-colour press with coater. It will be delivered to the family-run business in AmbergGermany in March and will also be the companys first Koenig & Bauer sheetfed offset press in its 50-year history.
