Koenig & Bauer at K2019

As the technology leader, Koenig & Bauer will again be presenting a multitude of new tailored and future-oriented solutions for its customers at this years K2019 fair in Düsseldorf. A joint stand measuring 350 m has been reserved in Hall 4 (B11) as the platform for Koenig & Bauer Kammann and Koenig & Bauer Flexotecnica to showcase a broad portfolio of products for the decoration of hollow containers made of glass, metal and plastic and for the printing of flexible packaging. There will be several live demonstrations of the new Evo XC from Flexotecnica and the K15 M18 from Kammann during the course of each day.

Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, draws a positive conclusion on Labelexpo Europe 2019 . More than 5000 visitors gathered information at the Heidelberg Gallus stand at the label show, which took place from 24 to 27 September in Brussels. Especially the live demonstrations of the Gallus Labelmaster with new and optimized functions as well as the fully equipped Gallus Labelfire digital printing press were very well attended. Numerous machine sales across the entire product portfolio were made at Labelexpo Europe 2019.

Award for Koenig & Bauers artificial intelligence: For the project Kyana – predictive maintenance with a digital twin the subsidiary Coding received the Steinbeis Foundations transfer prize – the Löhn Prize – on 27 September 2019. The award has been presented since 2004 for outstanding projects and achievements in entrepreneurial knowledge and technology transfer.
