Into a second century with a finishing speedster

Packaging and finishing specialist Richard Bretschneider in Braunschweig in Northern Germany recently celebrated the companys 100th anniversary together with customers and suppliers. The occasion also heralded the transition to an even more successful second century in the companys history – with future-oriented technology, a new development centre, and innovations in automation and robot systems.

New Rapida 106 at Siepmann in Hamburg

Last year, the Hamburg printing company founded and run by the Siepmann family implemented a generation change in more than one sense. Firstly, Mark Siepmann took over responsibility for day-to-day management from his father Thomas. And at the same time, the company replaced a Rapida 106 dating from 2008 with a similarly configured press of the current series. Thanks to its higher automation, the new press promises even greater productivity and is contributing to an expansion of the companys capacities.

PRINTING United: Heidelberg Makes a Successful Return to Major US Tradeshows

Thousands of attendees of PRINTING United, a brand-new tradeshow displaying the convergence of multiple print technologies, visited Heidelberg North Americas booth to see the new offerings from the company. Focused on scalable solutions, the show resulted in many profitable sales across Heidelbergs scalable solutions portfolio.

KBA-NotaSys becomes Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions

A new name for the world market leader in high-security printing solutions. KBA-NotaSys announces the change of its corporate name to Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions as of 1 June 2020. The name change will harmonize brands within the Koenig & Bauer Group and has no influence on the organization and structure of KBA-NotaSys. A global overhaul of the logo, the website and related visuals will be presented during the first half of 2020.

Gallus celebrates sold Labelmaster No. 100

Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg), celebrated a milestone at Labelexpo Europe 2019 : the Gallus Labelmaster No. 100 is being installed at the printing company Interfas, based in Louviers, France. The conventional press with a printing width of 440 mm is equipped with eight flexographic printing units and three die-cutting units. Cold foil finishing is integrated, too. It is the first Gallus Labelmaster and the first flexo press for Interfas, which has previously relied exclusively on label production with offset printing.
