Envases Group acquires Multi-Substrate Nilpeter FA-22 for Buenos Aires Plant

Argentinian packaging holding, Envases Group, has aquired a Nilpeter FA-22 Multi-Substrate Press to further build on their leading status in the South American region. Envases Group has plants in Buenos Aires, San Luis and in Cartagena, Colombia, and specializes in aerosol aluminium and tinplate cans. Last year, the company launched a new pharmaceutical packaging division with the acquisition of the only roll-to-roll Hapa digital printer in Latin America.

A&B Printing Adds RMGT 7 Series Press

A&B Printing is pleased to announce the addition of a full 6-UP RMGT (Ryobi MHI Graphic Technologies, LTD) five-color with coater offset press to help supplement their pressroom and allow for added capacity. The need for this new press was largely driven by much higher demand from A&B Printings customers around the U.S.

Speedmaster from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has once again proven its reliability. Fifteen years ago, MM Polygrafoformlenie Packaging Company (MM POF), one of the biggest packaging printers in Russia, installed a Speedmaster XL 105 offset press. Till to date, the Speedmaster XL 105-6+L has printed over 736 million sheets that is, on average, it delivers more than 49 million sheets per year and more than 4 million sheets per month.

Covid-19 pandemic and measures to boost profitability have considerable impact

During a challenging financial year 201920 (April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020), business operations at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) was impacted by the increasingly deteriorating economic environment caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on preliminary figures yet to be audited, Group sales amounted to 2,349 million, some 6 percent down on the previous year. Restrained investment activity caused by the economic circumstances had a negative impact on business, first and foremost in Europe.
