Macfarlane Labels Invests in 10-Colour Nilpeter FA-17 to Meet Increasing Demands

Longtime Nilpeter partner, Macfarlane Labels, has invested in a 10-colour Nilpeter FA-17 to meet increasing workloads within the companys regular product offerings during the SARS-COV-2 outbreak. The new press joins a fleet of five other Nilpeter presses at Macfarlane.

Over 100 Rapida printing units in operation at Parksons Packaging

Parksons Packaging is one of the biggest packaging solutions providers in India. Alongside its headquarters in Mumbai, the company, which is overseen by chairman Ramesh Kejriwal, operates five ultramodern production plants at locations all over the subcontinent. Only recently, a newly installed Rapida 76 was commissioned. This means there are now exactly 101 printing and finishing units from Koenig & Bauer in production for the Indian packaging giant.

Q.I. Press Controls installs mRC-3D at Gmähle Scheel Print-Medien

In reaction to the good results achieved with the existing press automation solution of Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC), the printing company Gmähle Scheel Print Medien has now upgraded to mRC-3D. Gmähle Scheel Print Media is part of the Wurzel Medien Gruppe, a full service provider that delivers solutions for all media. The upgrade is for their web offset division in Schwabisch Hall.

Bhojraj Industries leads the way in gravure printing in Nigeria with large investment in BOBST technology

Lagos-based Bhojraj Industries Ltd supplies flexible packaging to the food industry, printed on a top of the range MASTER RS 6003 gravure press from BOBST. The Nigerian company is now adding a BOBST NOVA RS 5003 to the lineup, as it looks to extend capacity and continue its successful expansion in high-quality printed packaging. As a full-service provider, Bhojraj Industries offers film extrusion lamination, gravure printing, slitting and converting. A recent increase in demand for flexible packaging coincided with the need to upgrade its older printing equipment and improve on output.
