UniPrint, the in-plant printing facility for The Ohio State University located in Columbus, Ohio, has installed a Komori Lithrone G37 five-color offset press (GL537) to replace two older offset presses. As an in-plant shop, UniPrint accepts a wide range of work from University faculty, departments and students, as well as placing and maintaining all the multi-functional devices and desktop printers on campus.
AM Lithography, a veteran-owned, full-service printing company based in Chicopee, Massachusetts, has installed a six-color Komori Lithrone G40 (GL640) press. This is the 20th Komori press the company has purchased since CEO Al Meadows launched the business from his basement in 1979 as a part-time start-up before becoming a full-time operation just four years later in 1983.
