LTG Lufttechnische GmbH, a specialist supplier of industrial air conditioning systems, entered the metal decorating market with the first continuous drying oven for metal sheets in 1932.

The Sternberg Foundation, named after the former long-standing CEO of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, has awarded this years prize for successful design in the printing industry. The task was to design a book cover for an anthology on the subject of A Friday in The Future, with an eye to sustainability and a vision of the future.

Oskar Görner thrives with a Rapida 106

It is almost exactly one year since a Rapida 106 started production for Oskar Görner in Chemnitz. The five-colour press with inline coater and extended delivery is the largest sheetfed offset press in use at the company, and easily surpasses the machinery used at all the other commercial printers in the city in terms of sheet format.

WorldSkills Germany: Competition of the best up-and-coming young professionals

At the German championships held from October 19 to 22, 2020, in the Print Media Center of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) in Wiesloch-Walldorf, twelve skilled workers demonstrated their high level of knowledge. Six media designers and six print media technologists took on the challenging competition tasks.
