Polibak purchases two EXPERT K5s with BOBST AlOx GEN II and AluBond for production of sustainable BOPP films

Polibak based in Turkey have purchased two EXPERT K5 2450mm metallizers incorporating the latest BOBST innovations including the recently launched AlOx GEN II and the AluBond process. The machines also include a high rate source, post plasma unit, a 700mm diameter coating drum which is the largest in the industry and the Hawkeye in-line optical density deposition control and defect monitoring system.

Manroland Goss Group acquires THALLO packaging business

On December 17, 2020, DG press ServiceS B.V. and the manroland Goss Group signed a Letter of Intent providing a basis for a business collaboration with the regard to the Thallo press series for flexible packaging. This LOI was drawn up, after manroland Goss Group purchased the Intellectual Property Rights of the Thallo packaging business.
