Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Printing & Packaging Machinery, Ltd. (MHI-PPM), a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) based in Mihara in Hiroshima, has received an order for two Mitsubishi 4 x 1 “DIAMONDSPIRIT” newspaper offset presses from IWATE NIPPO CO, LTD., a newspaper company with head office in Iwate, northern part of Japan. This is the first case that MHI-PPM provided a consulting service for a new newspaper printing plant. The new presses are scheduled for delivery in the early summer in 2016.
