Jesta Group Acquires Fox Mobile Group from News Corporation

Jesta Group today announced the acquisition of Fox Mobile Group (FMG) from News Corporation. A leading global entertainment provider, FMG includes such well-known consumer brands as Jamba, Jamster, Mobizzo and iLove, as well as Bitbop, a mobile video service and entertainment platform launched in the U.S. in early 2010. FMG, which will be renamed and become a part of Jesta Mobile Holdings, is co-headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and Beverly Hills, California, and operates in North America, Europe, South America and Australia.

Publishers announced in Rochester, Indianapolis, Lafayette

Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) announced today that Michael G. Kane was named president and publisher of the Rochester (NY) Democrat and Chronicle. Karen Crotchfelt has been named president and publisher of The Indianapolis Star, succeeding Kane. Crotchfelt formerly was senior vice president/advertising and strategic planning at The Arizona Republic in Phoenix.

Schibsted ASA (SCH) – Acquisition of shares in Media Norge ASA

Schibsted has agreed to acquire 1,717,149 shares in Media Norge ASA from Vital Forsikring ASA at NOK 72.50 per share. Schibsted increases its holding in Media Norge ASA from 80.6 to 82.3 per cent.
