The McClatchy Company (NYSE: MNI) today announced that it has priced its offering of $910 million aggregate principal amount of its 9.00% Senior Secured Notes due 2022 to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), and outside the United States to non-U.S. persons pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act. The aggregate principal amount of notes to be issued has been increased from the originally announced $750 million to $910 million. The offering is expected to close on December 18, 2012, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
