Around 200 signmakers, digital printers and industry people attended a Spandex open house event in Bristol on the 4th and 5th of November. Following the companys successful theme of Learn, Discover and Benefit, the event highlighted the latest trends and innovations for the digital printing and signmaking industries.
The Donly Donovaly sports club recently made the news with an expedition to the North Pole. Anton Dua, president of signmaking company Artem, supplied the expeditionists with beautiful flags which they hoisted at the finish. Dua used a special polymeric banner that’s resistant to the extreme temperatures at North Pole and directly printed the flags with his XC-540 printer/cutter.
