FESPA Global Print Expo 2018 (Messe Berlin, 15 to 18 May) reinforced its standing as the global landmark event for speciality printers, with visitors from a record 142 countries gravitating to the German capital for the four-day show.

(Nasdaq:EFII) today reported that Beerse, Belgium-based Dacar Digital Printing has installed the 100th superwide-format LED roll-to-roll printer in the EFI VUTEk 3r5r LED roll-to-roll superwide-format line. Dacar chose a new 5-metre-wide VUTEk 5r model printer because of features that help boost users commercial success while reducing costs, such as low energy consumption, high resolution and speed, and its value-added accessories.
Italian graphics and printing services specialist Beepag has invested in the countrys first Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed solution to enable it to respond to new market opportunities with print speeds up to 100 square metres per hour. The Greenguard certified system will support its visual communication, cardboard, Point of Purchase (PoP) and industrial decoration services.
