Xerox Acquires Altodigital and ITEC Connect, Expanding SMB Reach in Europe

Xerox has acquired two leading services and technology providers, Altodigital and ITEC Connect, in the U.K. Were supporting small and midsize businesses seeking a modern work experience through two acquisitions in the U.K., said Xavier Heiss, EVP and president of EMEA Operations, Xerox. Altodigital and ITEC are both leaders in managed print services and specialists in IT services, an area into which Xerox is rapidly expanding with new offerings.

Hunkeler Innovationdays: Postponement by one year to 2022

The Hunkeler Innovationdays will now be held from 21 to 24 February 2022 at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre. The international print industry event is focused on high-performance digital printing and finishing. The Hunkeler Innovationdays planned for 22-25 February 2021 will be postponed by one year to 21-24 February 2022.

Epson strengthens its A3 linehead segment with 2nd generation Epson WorkForce Enterprise

Epson is strengthening its portfolio of high-performance business inkjet printers with two second-generation WorkForce Enterprise systems and the additional WF-C20600 model. The new multifunction devices with line-head technology (line-width print head) offer speeds of 60 (WF-C20600), 75 (WF-C20750) and 100 pages per minute (WF-C21000). These devices give businesses access to inkjet printing systems that are ideal for any office environment. The new WorkForce Enterprise will be available from qualified retailers from April.

Ricohs IM Series Multifunctional Systems have successfully undergone a new intensive security testing programme by Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab, a leading research and testing laboratory for office systems. The programme, which focuses on networked MFPs and printers, sets industry standard benchmarks for device security, policy compliance and firmware resistance. The program also includes field tests conducted in collaboration with recognized security testing companies.

Azuliber: The First Ceramic Tile Factory to Use EFI Cretaprint Hybrid Technology

Electronics For Imagings Cretaprint Hybrid, the Alfa de Oro-awarded technology for inkjet ceramic decoration with both solvent and aqueous inks, has been validated for its productivity and quality by one of the worlds leading ceramics companies, Azuliber. The LAlcora, Spain-based tile manufacturer installed the first EFI Cretaprint printer operating with water-based inks as a beta unit more than a year ago. Today, that printer is successfully operating in Azulibers regular manufacturing line.
