Domino Printing Sciences (Domino) has today announced its acquisition of Lake Image Systems, a market-leading producer of automated, vision-based inspection systems, for quality control and data verification.
Konica Minolta has successfully passed the environmental audit according to the ISO 14001 standard for Germany and Austria. The service provider was awarded ISO 14001 status for both countries by DEKRA Certification GmbH on August 10, 2020. The certification represents another important element in Konica Minoltas environmental strategy under its Eco Vision 2050 and underscores its customer-centric approach to sustainability.

Field test successfully passed: this is reported by Birkhäuser + GBC AG, a subsidiary of SCHELLING AG, only a short time after the Gallus Labelfire was installed with low migration equipment. In the Reinach plant near Basel, the company has been able to print a variety of labels and flexible packaging in accordance with low migration requirements since July 2020. The native print resolution of 1200 dpi and the flexibility of the hybrid label printing press are outstanding. It is already the second Gallus Labelfire for Birkhäuser.

Canon and the Fogra Research Institute for Media Technology are proud to announce that the LabelStream 4000 series is the first digital press whose 6-colour (W + CMYK + O) printing system has been certified according to the Fogra PSD Print Check specifications. The certification confirms colour and run accuracy as well as a visual inspection for homogeneity and sharpness of detail.
