The book market is going through change: While overall sales figures remain almost constant, the growing diversity of titles is inevitably leading to smaller print runs. The big challenge facing book producers lies in producing these smaller runs profitably. Muller Martini is demonstrating with the SigmaLine a total system with which short runs of books can be produced cost-effectively in high quality and with short delivery times.
With the Presto E90, Muller Martini presents a further development of the proven Presto: with the fresh Muller Martini color, Laserblue, a whole series of technical improvements and the new three-knife trimmer 1565.
The ProLiner newspaper inserting system will be presented together with the new CoLiner pre-gathering system for the first time at drupa. It not only looks impressive with its new Laserblue “outfit”, but also is designed in line with the latest ergonomic principles and offers even more flexibility.
Listo is the name of the new high-performance stacker from Muller Martini for bundle processing at press delivery. At speeds of up to 100,000 copies per hour, it creates perfect cross-stacked and layered bundles.
