Print and Mailing Solutions LLC announced today that it has expanded its value-add, co-production capabilities with the installation of three, seven pocket poly-wrapping machines located in their Romeoville, IL facility.
UK-based Autobond, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sheet-fed laminators and inkjet spot UV machines, has appointed Binderhaus GmbH & Co. KG as its agent in Germany. The appointment will enable Autobond to strengthen its sales, service and support.
The manufacturer of inserting and folding machines, that recently was forced to file insolvency, is looking for a new investor. The local court of Villingen-Schwenningen appointed the lawyer Martin Mucha from the Stuttgart law firm Grub Brugger & Partner as preliminary insolvency administrator.
Around 1,800 shareholders today participated in the Annual General Meeting of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) for financial year 2011/2012, which was held at the Congress Center Rosengarten in Mannheim. Just under 38 percent of Heidelberg’s share capital was represented at the event.
Online print shop introduces ten new types of refining
Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd. is pleased to confirm an order from Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd. of South Korea for a new 8.7m wide Atlas CW1040 Series primary slitter rewinder. The film slitter will be installed in conjunction with a new BOPP film production line at the company’s extensive production facility in the city of Jeonju, approx. 100km south of the capital, Seoul. The BOPP film line is due to commence production during the first quarter of 2013 and represents a major expansion of production capacity in BOPP film for the Daelim Group with an estimated annual production capacity of approx. 38,000 tonnes.
During a highly successful drupa 2012 exhibition, BOBST verified with visiting customers that plans for future equipment and service developments, including those for sheet-fed digital printing and finishing, are on track to satisfy the production challenges that clients’ expect to face in the future.
