Fox Group Takes On Specialized Folding and Gluing Work with Flexibly Configured Equipment from Heidelberg

The Fox Group (Quakertown, PA) is able to perform more complicated folding and gluing work for its packaging customers since adding a high-performance Diana X 115 folder-gluer from Heidelberg. On the commercial side, the company recently also made outsourcing a thing of the past by installing a versatile Stahlfolder TH-66 with in-line Ti-52 miniature folder.

Known Consignor – security and safety through to destination

On 8 January 2013, CITO was successfully certified as a Known Consignor by the LBA (German Federal Aviation Office). In accordance with an EU regulation, this status allows goods to be transported by air without having to undergo certain checking procedures. From 25 March 2013, only shipments sent by Known Consignors will be authorised quickly and ‘securely’ for airfreight.

Grimm Bindery Solves A Banding Problem

When it comes to having a company history, few firms can boast a record equal to Grimm Bindery. Gottlieb Grimm learned the craft of bookbinding from his father, Gelasius Grimm in his native Germany. Emigrating to America 1849, he settled in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1855, he and a partner founded the Madison New Book Bindery, which he later sold, re-purchased, and renamed it the Grimm Book Binderyin 1874.
