Diana X 115 Folder-Gluer from Heidelberg Replaces Two Existing Lines at Americraft Carton, Inc.

Americraft Carton, Inc. (Winston-Salem, NC), a $25 million producer of printed folding cartons, has added a Diana X 115 folder gluer from Heidelberg to reduce a production backlog and help move product to its customers on a just-in-time basis. Originally added to increase capacity while retaining two older folding and gluing lines, the Diana X 115 quickly proved so productive that Americraft decommissioned two of its existing folder-gluers to eliminate the costs associated with running and maintaining them.

Gallus, Inc. and Prati Form U.S. Alliance

Gallus, Inc. (USA) and Prati Company of Italy have formed a strategic relationship intended to help Prati expand its geographic reach and extend Gallus’ portfolio to its North American customers. Prati is a 40-year old firm founded by Pietro Prati that designs and manufactures high quality equipment for the label printing marketplace, including slitting/rewinding, converting, finishing, and inspection machines. Gallus will not only represent Prati sales in the USA, but provide expertise, aftermarket services and parts to support the equipment from its headquarters in Philadelphia PA.
