CPC – the European packaging solutions company – has just invested in four top-of-the-range machines from BOBST, one of the worlds leading suppliers of equipment and services to packaging and label manufacturers.
Scodix recently sold and installed the Scodix Ultra2 Pro with Foil to Graphic Village LLC, the largest independent print marketing company in Greater Cincinnati. The 90-plus-year-old company is built on a foundation of innovation, and the addition of the Scodix machine will enable the market leader to continue to push the limits of what it can offer its customers.
The Italian company relies on Tecnau Libra One system for variable book-block production for soft cover and hard cover binding.
The installed machine is die cutting and laminating 3M tape for wind turbines.
The BOBST CL 850D duplex laminator is part of the Constantia Flexibles Group investment to expand the operations of Oai Hung Manufacturing Joint Stock Co., the production site in Vietnam, that it is part of its pharma division since 2016. The CL 850D is due for delivery and installation in the cleanroom of the companys state-of-the-art production facility in Ho-Chi-Minh City in the second half of 2018.
Austrian label printer and converter Ulrich Etiketten is broadening their offering in multi-layer label production with a ROTOCONTROL BL-series booklet label machine. Leading the sale was Printcon, the recently appointed local ROTOCONTROL representative in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
As a BOBST partner company, Baumer hhs exhibited its latest innovations for glue application and quality control in folding carton production at COMPETENCE 18, an in-house trade fair held by the Swiss group of companies at its Competence Centre in Mex in early June. BOBST has six folder-gluers at this demonstration site, all of which are equipped with the latest technology from Baumer hhs.
