Gonalves opens complex folding carton line in Latin America with BOBST equipment

A new BOBST folding carton line has been unveiled at Grfica Gonalves, in So Paulo, during an officially inauguration ceremony held on 11 September 2020. The highly automated converting line has been installed to guarantee greater agility and productivity, which will enable the Brazilian packaging specialist to meet an increasingly demanding consumer market.

New Prinova Saddle Stitcher: Produce (Ultra) Short Runs Efficiently

The Prinova, which was launched on the market by Muller Martini this fall, is the ideal solution for short runs, but as an all-rounder, it is also designed for medium-sized runs as well. This is because, thanks to its innovative individual feeder, the saddle stitcher, which is capable of 9,000 cycles per hour, can be changed over incredibly quickly.

Titan-Polymer Purchases Two BOBST EXPERT K5s

The Titan-Polymer plant based in the Pskov region of Russia has purchased two EXPERT K5 2900 mm vacuum metallizers which will be installed at their BOPET production facility. Both machines incorporate the latest BOBST technologies namely high speed metallization and a large 700 mm diameter coating drum. One of the machines is equipped with the BOBST AlOx process for production of transparent high barrier films.

Wulf Böttcher is the new sales representative of Kern GmbH

Since 1 October 2020, Wulf Böttcher has been a new employee of Kern GmbH. In the sales team he will be responsible for the areas of Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, parts of Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg. With Mr. Wulf Böttcher, we were able to gain an excellent expert in our industry. He was employed at MB Bäuerle for many years and held various positions within the company, e.g. as product specialist and product managersalesperson. Most recently he worked as a product manager for a well-known competitor.
