Fujifilm has partnered with IST METZ to launch SMARTcure at drupa 2024. IST METZ is a leading supplier of UV curing solutions for graphic arts and the official supplier of LuXtreme – Fujifilms latest UV LED curing system, launched at Labelexpo last year.
The event will take place in Düsseldorf, and innovative and premium specialty paper products, renewable energy projects, research and development projects, and startup partnerships will be among the many things showcased by the Oberkirch-based family business at Hall 4.
Since February 2024, Dr. Tim Rüttermann has been the Vice President of the BU Curing. Dr. Rüttermann, who holds a PhD in Physics, has held leadership positions in various internationally operating technology companies.
Should the plans be implemented the number of positions affected is estimated approximately at 135 in Hürth and 210 in Dörpen. The participation process with the workers council will start immediately in line with local legislation.
The donation was facilitated by Coalville CAN, a Community Benefit Society that provides spaces, support and opportunities to the local community. The market stall is housed in additional learning space provided to the school by Coalville CAN.
