A successful Labelexpo Europe 2013, with a large number of visitors at the stand of Mitsubishi HiTec Paper, has come to an end. Mitsubishi’s impressive product range of high-quality, coated label papers for use in all types of printing systems were very well received in all areas.
The second appearance of NANOVIS at Labelexpo has fully met our ambitious goals. Not only the number of visitors to the stand exceeded our expectations, even the keen interest and the specific questions testified that we are on the right track. It was confirmed that environmental and sustainability issues become increasingly important for many companies even with cleaning processes.
Metso has decided to lower the guidance for its financial performance for 2013. The weakened outlook is resulting primarily from lower profitability at the separate business entity Valmet Automotive during the second half of the year.
The specialist for screen and digital printing inks displayed tailor-made printing solutions for labels. Special attention gained the low-migration opaque white, the technology for 3D metallic effects, and LED-curable applications.
