Norske Skog enters into a sales cooperation with CellMark for the Asian markets

Norske Skog and CellMark AB have agreed to enter into a long term marketing agreement for sales of publication paper in the Asian markets. The parties will establish a new distributor in Singapore, NorCell Asia, which will have the exclusive marketing rights for all Norske Skog products to be sold in the Asian markets. Norske Skog will transfer its current sales operations and sales staff in Singapore from PanAsia Paper Trading to NorCell Asia.

Norske Skog sells its remaining stake in the Brazilian operations

Norske Skog has entered into an agreement to sell the remaining 49% of the shares in Norske Skog Pisa in Brazil to Papeles Bio Bio SA (formerly Norske Skog Bio Bio) which is controlled by Group BO / Pathfinder, a consortium of Chilean investors. The sales price for the 49% stake is USD 37 million, and the proceeds will be received during the first half of 2014.
