UPM is proceeding as planned with its EUR 160 million investment to increase pulp production at the Kymi mill in Kouvola, Finland. The company has signed agreements within the KYMI-700 project concerning the planning, new debarking plant and pulp drying machine as well as modernisation of the softwood fibre line. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value or further details of the agreements.
