New BOPP Film for reclosable applications

Innovia Films is launching a new Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Rayoface facestock film specifically designed for reclosable applications, such as wet wipes. This clear films strength comes from its thickness – 92 microns. While it is thick, it still has exceptional clarity which allows printed branding on a wet wipe pack to show through. The film also has a special print and adhesive receptive coating to ensure high quality print performance.

Toyo Ink Group to Establish Production Base in Myanmar

Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co., Ltd., the parent company of the Toyo Ink Group of Japan, today announced plans to make a full-fledged foray into the Myanmar market with the establishment of a production base in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon. The company plans to set up in July 2018 a wholly-owned manufacturing subsidiary, Toyo Ink Myanmar Co., Ltd., with an initial paid-in capital of US$6.5 million. The new factory is scheduled to break ground in November 2018 with commercial operation expected to begin in November 2019.

Mactac announces new colours and faster matching service for the MACal 9800 Pro Series

The FESPA 2018 show in Berlin saw Mactac Europe launching 16 new colour choices and faster colour-matching for the popular MACal 9800 Pro range including six new colours inspired by Mondrians palette. It means an even wider range of choices for long-term vehicle marking, window graphics, decorative & signage panels, and other branding applications.
