Sun Chemical has received a Jury Commendation for the UK Excellence Award for Managing with Agility from the British Quality Foundation, after it received a five star EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) rating. Sun Chemical received the Commendation at the British Quality Foundation Awards dinner on Thursday 16th May at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, after being shortlisted for a UK Excellence Award and Excellence in Collaboration Award.
At its first appearance at the worlds premier garment and textile technology exhibition, Meech will use its stand (H8.1 – A201) to demonstrate, to the shows thousands of visitors, its proven track record of solving a range of static and cleaning related issues in textile production.

An innovation from Avery Dennison that enables closed-loop PET recycling has won this years FINAT Recycling and Sustainability award. The CleanFlake portfolio (video) enables production of high quality recycled PET (rPET) from post-consumer bottles while maintaining all-important visual impact and food contact approval. The portfolio is further reducing environmental impact by using recycled PET liner material.
