Sales department of BST eltromat International now operates in the global market with two heads

As of June 1, 2019, BST eltromat International has subdivided its global distribution into one region West and one region East. With the dual leadership, the company strengthens its international sales power and thus moves even closer to its customers and subsidiaries in all parts of the world. Siegfried Steggemann (56) has taken over as Global Sales Director West for the Western Region. In addition to Western Europe, he is responsible for the markets of the American continent and North Africa. Sajid Malik (33) is responsible for the East region, which comprises the other regions of the world (Eastern EuropeTurkey, Middle East, Central and South Africa, Africa and Asia).

Automated sensor integration live at K 2019

At K 2019, Leonhard Kurz will be demonstrating the automated integration of touchscreen sensors into plastic parts. The sensors will be applied to a white goods control panel using Kurzs patent pending FFB (Functional Foil Bonding) process. The process was presented for the first time at Fakuma 2018 and is now being adopted in series production applications. A semi-rotary variant of FFB will be displayed at the Kurz booth for the first time.
